The Tucker Equipment Operator is to operate specialized concrete pouring equipment. This role is critical to ensuring safe, precise, and efficient placement of concrete in a production environment. The operator must be safety-focused, detail-oriented, and experienced in operating articulated, joystick-controlled machinery.

 Role and Responsibilities

• Safely operate Tucker concrete pouring equipment (articulated, joystick-controlled, 4-wheeled hopper with auger) to transport

• Control auger discharge to ensure consistent and precise concrete flow into molds/forms

• Maneuver equipment in tight production areas using articulated steering

• Perform daily pre- and post-operation inspections to ensure equipment is in safe working condition

• Monitor equipment performance and identify mechanical or operational issues

• Assist with routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting of equipment

• Follow all company safety policies and OSHA guidelines to maintain a strong safety culture

• Coordinate with plant personnel, batch plant operators, and production team to ensure efficient workflow

• Maintain clean and organized work areas, including housekeeping around equipment and pour zones

• Assist with other production tasks as needed

 Required Skills and Qualifications

• 2–3+ years of heavy equipment operation experience (preferred)

• Experience with articulated equipment, joystick controls, or concrete placement equipment strongly preferred

• Ability to operate equipment with precision in a production or plant setting

• Strong understanding of jobsite and plant safety practices

• Mechanical aptitude for basic equipment troubleshooting and maintenance

• Ability to follow directions and work effectively in a team environment

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

• Willingness to learn and adapt to new equipment and processes
