LCP is currently seeking experienced Equipment Operators to work locally in Baton Rouge, LA. Applicants must be hard-working, responsible individuals who are dedicated to promoting a culture of safety.

The ideal candidate will perform a variety of tasks and have a variety of responsibilities.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Safely operate and maintain assigned equipment, including cranes, forklifts, backhoes, and track hoes. Perform daily inspections and maintenance to ensure equipment is in safe working order. Follow all company safety guidelines and rules at all times to maintain a culture of safety.

• Assist in keeping work areas organized and neat, including any housekeeping tasks

• Participate in cross-training to operate multiple types of equipment.

• Safely use mechanical and/or power tools;

• Help perform preventative maintenance activities and troubleshooting of equipment issues;

• Contribute ideas for process improvements to increase efficiency and safety.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ years of heavy equipment operation experience (preferred). Specialized experience with rough terrain cranes, forklifts, or track hoes is a strong plus. Valid certifications (OSHA, crane operator license, forklift license) are highly valued.

• Attention to detail and strong commitment to safety;

• Ability to work with a Team and take direction from supervisors;

• Open-Minded, willing to learn, and adaptable to new tasks;

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
